Kelly Santomas, MS, RN
Kelly Santomas, MS, RN, is the Senior Director for Programs and Operations, responsible for leading a diverse and talented team of professionals who support the implementation of technology-enabled clinical practice and patient care throughout the Partners HealthCare network. Her team manages the complexities of creating and implementing connected health programs to engage patients and providers, and improve workflow efficiencies and minimize disruption.
She is a strong advocate of patient centered care and was the Nursing Director for the Clinician Readiness Team implementing Partners eCare, the Epic-based integrated electronic health record throughout the Partners network. Kelly has also collaborated with creative leaders to implement innovative programs such as the Interprofessional Dedicated Unit where students from nursing and rehabilitation sciences learn together to understand the continuum of clinical practice.
Kelly has received several Partners in Excellence awards for her contributions to clinical practice and was nominated for the Nathaniel Bowditch Award for significant contributions for improving quality of patient care. A Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist by training, Kelly received her MS from the University of Massachusetts, Worcester.
